Dear Family,
How are you all? I hope everything is well. The MTC is awesome!!! I feel totally calm and just happy. It is a lot to take in but I'm not at all worried.
My companion is Sister Wilson, just like mom said! She and I are so alike! These companionships are totally inspired and I know that we were put together for a reason.
We are jumping right into things already-learning/speaking Portuguese as much as possible and learning/practicing how to teach lessons by the Spirit. I have felt the Spirit so strongly here. It's incredible!
I have already seen Sisters Seagraves and Conley tons, but I still haven't seen Sister Larson.
Honestly, this all feels like a dream! Or, like I'm at a camp or something. But it's so awesome. My District is adorable haha. I'm pretty sure they are all 18 but they are so much fun. There are four sisters in our District and we're all serving in Curitiba Sul!! I'm having so much fun.
We teach our first lesson in Portuguese tomorrow. Holy cow! But I know that if we study the language and the materials diligently, we will be blessed.
Overall, it's been such a good experience already. I've learned how important it is to be open to the Spirit and to ask lots of questions-in class and in lessons.
Anyways, I'm sorry this letter was all over the place! A lot has happened and it's hard to get my thoughts straight. But I love you all so much and I can't wait to hear from you and write you on Monday.
With much love,
Sister Ramsden (see-ster ham-stain)
